01The brief

What the developer sent

Kahaya Lombok is an exclusive villa community in Kuta, Lombok: townhouse villas, one-bedroom row units, private 3 and 4 bedroom villas, and a solar-roofed clubhouse around a lagoon pool, 400 metres from the beach. The brief: prove their existing renders can become presentation, sales and film material without touching the 3D scene again. The ground truth for every test below is the master plan and six original renders.

02The shootout

Seven models, one identical instruction

Every current edit-capable image model on Higgsfield received the same source frame and the same order: keep every building exact, make it read as a real drone photograph. Two rounds of quantified checks (pixel drift in building zones, then crop-level geometry inspection) picked the winners.

03The transformation

From render to photograph

Drag the handle. Same buildings, same layout, same solar array. The plantation grid becomes organic groves and rice paddies, the light becomes morning haze, the materials pick up believable wear.

04New angles

Views no camera was ever placed for

Generated from the reference set alone: the walk up from the beach, sunset behind the headland, and a rooftop flypast into the evening. Each is checked against the site plan for scale, distance and geography before it counts.

05Precision edits

Change one thing, keep everything else

The two operations a developer actually asks for: re-specify a material across the whole site, and remove a single unit. Both ran as one-instruction edits with the rest of the property untouched.

Alang-alang thatch swap — **Full roof re-spec.** Every shingle roof becomes alang-alang thatch. Identical ridges, identical footprints, solar array untouched.

Removal before and after — **Unit removal.** The forward two-bed at bottom-left deleted, stone wall re-closed in a clean line, neighbours untouched.

06The diagram

From photo to exploded plan

The same reference set redrawn as presentation graphics: an exploded axonometric with the buildings lifted off the master plan and colour-coded by unit type, plus a hybrid half-photo state that makes a striking section opener.

07Motion

The drone that never flew

Video models take the approved stills as anchor frames. The orbit holds the architecture rigid through a real parallax move. This is the piece that replaces a drone day.
